The first concept art screen for Valve’s Half Life 2: Episode Three has been found through 2008 IntoThePixel E3 art gallery
The concept art, created by Valve artists that include Ted Backman, Jeremy Bennett, and Tristan Redford shows Gordon Freeman in the setting of what looks to be a large citadel environment with an ominous Combine Advisor overhead. The art is labeled as “Half Life EP3” and is slated for platforms such as PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.
Valve has kept quiet about the final iteration of the Half Life 2 episodic content and will not be making an appearance during this year’s E3 due to the promotion of their other title, a zombie FPS, Left 4 Dead.
