Dead Space Penned by Profilic Comic Book Writer, Warren Ellis

Warren Ellis, best known for Iron Man, has announced today that he played a significant role in writing the EA Redwood Shore’s developed sci-fi surivial horror game, Dead Space.

“I got released from an NDA the other day, so I can finally say that I wrote a bunch of the groundwork, backstory and structure on the forthcoming EA videogame Dead Space.”

“I believe there was at least one other writer on the project, but I’m sure there’s some of me in there somewhere.”

Dead Space is set for release in late October on PC, PS3, and 360. The game will feature Issac, an engineer who awakes to a living nightmare when he arrives at a deep space mining station with mutated monsters and futuristic technology.

Ellis is best known for penning comic books series such as Transmetropolitian and Iron Man: Extremis
