Project Origin Becomes F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin, February 10th Release

September 9, 2008 by William Saw 360, PC, PS3 No Comments

The sequel to Monolith’s horror shooter F.E.A.R. will be known as F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin instead of just Project Origin. Furthermore the game will be releasing on Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC February 10, 2009.

While Monolith created the first F.E.A.R., the creators couldn’t use the name as it was owned by Vivendi but still retained rights to its characters and settings.

However, that has changed with Monolith and Warner Bros. Interactive announced that they had purchased the F.E.A.R. brand name from Activision Blizzard. The newly formed mega company stated it was only interested in retaining select Vivendi properties while leaving others in limbo.

Matt Hazard: Blood Bath & Beyond Review

The original Matt Hazard had the potential to be a great game, good voice work with the likes of Neil Patrick Harris and Will Arnett. A brilliant backstory and marketing campaign which broke the fourth wall entirely, and the story while thin was entertaining and amusing. The sole problem came in the gameplay department which [...]

SB Plays The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

When the newest entry in the beloved Zelda series was announced earlier this year, people were both excited and skeptical. How well would a train in the Zeldaverse go over with fans? Would the gameplay be a replay of Phantom Hourglass, with its infamously numerous trips through the Temple of the Ocean King?
Now that the [...]
