Site launch is planned for November 18, 2008 at 12:00PM EST, 9:00PM PST (November 17, 2008)
You’ll know it when the layout goes up…punch and pie.

This is going to be Will’s update log to keep you all updated as I go along.

11/13
11:30 pm – Set up site, upload files from previous site to MV, so far so good…
11/14
9:30 am – Moving all posts into the new site in the afternoon
5:45 pm – Half of our content didn’t make the transition, figuring out a solution at the moment.
10:30 pm – Completed moving all of the old content back to the site. What a tiring process.
11/15
10:50 am – Waiting for our editors to register into the site… Going to tweak the layout this afternoon.
12:00 pm – Hey did you see our new comment system, that ish is sick yo. Register on IntenseDebate to get the full effect w/ avatars and friends list!
1:30 pm – Caffinee is not good for the intense coding sessions, but managed to get an awesome feature for the site. You’ll see. ;)
9:30 pm – A feature was scrapped because it caused slowdown for the system, damn beta plugin, that blew.
11/16
5:30 pm – Hey my internet couldn’t connect to monstervine.com pretty much for the entire day so I didn’t have time to work on the site today. Rest assured though, the site is ready for launch, like 95% ready. But Zack and I managed to work out our ad campaign pretty smoothly, so expect alot of visitors on the first day if all goes as planned!
11/17
7:40 am – I’m effin tired from pulling an all-nighter last night but pending any immediate delay or obstruction to my internet, I will be here to launch the site. T-minus less than 12 hours!
3:50 pm – So when I got the message this morning that my site didn’t work in IE, despite my lack of sleep, I managed to pinpoint what was wrong and fixed the problem. Now if you excuse me, I need rest. :( See you at launch!
6:30 pm – Less than 3 hours away, lets do this!
8:00 pm – Less than an hour to go, I’m ready to go…are you ready for the Monster?

Microtastic Reviews: Zombie Edition

Plants vs Zombies
Developer: Popcap Games
Price: $3 Dollars
Platform: iPhone
Genre: Tower Defense
There is something delightful about the charming simplicity of Popcap’s titles, and Plants vs Zombies continues this legacy. Much like Peggle and any of its past franchises, Plants vs Zombies takes a single round to comprehend all of its basic rules. Though it never becomes difficult [...]

Matt Hazard: Blood Bath & Beyond Review

The original Matt Hazard had the potential to be a great game, good voice work with the likes of Neil Patrick Harris and Will Arnett. A brilliant backstory and marketing campaign which broke the fourth wall entirely, and the story while thin was entertaining and amusing. The sole problem came in the gameplay department which [...]

SB Plays The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

When the newest entry in the beloved Zelda series was announced earlier this year, people were both excited and skeptical. How well would a train in the Zeldaverse go over with fans? Would the gameplay be a replay of Phantom Hourglass, with its infamously numerous trips through the Temple of the Ocean King?
Now that the [...]
