Fable II DLC delayed. Surprises no-one.

December 18, 2008 by Andy Jackson 360 No Comments

Remember that awesome ‘Knothole Island’ expansion pack for Fable II that was due to be released soon?  You know the one that added 6-8 hours of gameplay, one hundred extra GamerPoints, more characters and a bunch of new items?  Yeah…it’s been delayed.  Shocking huh?  The reason?  ‘Technical difficulties’.  The official explanation is:

“Due to unexpected technical difficulties, the Fable II: Knothole Island expansion will not be available until late January 2009.  As a result, the Fable II, Knothole Island Download and Win, originally scheduled to take place December 22 – 23, 2008, has been temporarily suspended.  Please check back for updates.”

Of course, if you’re still interested in the “Download and Win” promotion, you can continue to register over LIVE and Xbox.com by downloading the appropriate gamer picture.

Matt Hazard: Blood Bath & Beyond Review

The original Matt Hazard had the potential to be a great game, good voice work with the likes of Neil Patrick Harris and Will Arnett. A brilliant backstory and marketing campaign which broke the fourth wall entirely, and the story while thin was entertaining and amusing. The sole problem came in the gameplay department which [...]

SB Plays The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

When the newest entry in the beloved Zelda series was announced earlier this year, people were both excited and skeptical. How well would a train in the Zeldaverse go over with fans? Would the gameplay be a replay of Phantom Hourglass, with its infamously numerous trips through the Temple of the Ocean King?
Now that the [...]
