BEGIN PREVIEW

“Oh my…” Thani gasped as she looked at the maze of floating platforms. “I could easily cross this maze, but you have no wings to speak of…”

“Who said we were supposed to fly across?” Link calmly replied as he fished the Ocarina of Time from his bag.

Thani was undeterred. “Don’t tell me you’re just going to walk across into the darkness and fall to your demise!”

“I’m not…” Link continued. “Besides, there’s more platforms here than meets the eye…” With that, he played the haunting melody of the Song of Time, making several silver blocks appear in the gaps.

“Well!” Thani smiled. “So I guess maybe it is safe to cross after all.” With that, she followed Link around the winding path, making sure he didn’t slip off the blocks the Song of Time had revealed.

“You think you could teach me new songs for me to play?” Link asked as he carefully stepped from block to block.

“Funny you should ask–the Gems of Power have melodies of their own, and they are not the same melodies you may have performed before.” Thani replied…
