Ever Thought “Ninjas are Way Too Big These Days”? Solution Within!

January 19, 2009 by Andy Jackson 360, DS, Features, PC, PS3, Wii 3 Comments

It has been reported that recently, Eidos is in a state of financial meltdown. That is to say, they got no money. Tomb Raider: Underworld undersold according to their standards as it reached a ‘paltry’ 1.5 million sales across all platforms. Apparently their solution is a Ninja game. Sounds a bit ‘been there done that’ right? Well, that’s where they get ya. These Ninjas are tiny. Mini some would say. It’s currently set for a Fall 09 date on the Xbox 360, Games for Windows, PS3, Wii and DS. The gameplay looks pretty much like an easier, kid-friendly Ninja Gaiden and probably less blood due to the 7+ (E) rating. Here are some lovely screens for you to gaze upon:

The Mini Ninjas site is now live and has more information on the game and will be updated accordingly. It’s ninjas but tiny. Cool. Whether or not it can save Eidos from it’s seemingly inevitable DOOM remains to be seen.

There is something delightful about the charming simplicity of Popcap’s titles, and Plants vs Zombies continues this legacy. Much like Peggle and any of its past franchises, Plants vs Zombies takes a single round to comprehend all of its basic rules. Though it never becomes difficult [...]

Matt Hazard: Blood Bath & Beyond Review

The original Matt Hazard had the potential to be a great game, good voice work with the likes of Neil Patrick Harris and Will Arnett. A brilliant backstory and marketing campaign which broke the fourth wall entirely, and the story while thin was entertaining and amusing. The sole problem came in the gameplay department which [...]

SB Plays The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

When the newest entry in the beloved Zelda series was announced earlier this year, people were both excited and skeptical. How well would a train in the Zeldaverse go over with fans? Would the gameplay be a replay of Phantom Hourglass, with its infamously numerous trips through the Temple of the Ocean King?
Now that the [...]
