Killzone 2 Demo Out in Europe This Week

Sony has announced that a demo for Killzone 2 will be made available for download on the 5th February. The demo will apparently include 2 fully playable sections of the first stage along with a tutorial sequence.

A demo for the US will be out earlier than the original date of the 26th, but only if you pre-ordered from Gamestop. A move I see as pointless since those who have pre-ordered are already interested in the game to begin with and have plans to buy it. So the demo won’t change their mind. (less they decide they hate it and cancel the pre-order) A demo is there to get more people into buying it, not get those who are already buying it more hyped.

The full game is due for release on the 27th February, and early reviews have been overwhelmingly positive, with an average of 94% on Metacritic so far. Definitely looking to be a must buy for PS3 owners.
