Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier Coming to PS2 and PSP

The straight edge Jak and his lovable furry sidekick Daxter are returning for yet another action-adventure for in the next chapter of the series, The Lost Frontier, coming to the PSP and PS2 this fall.

The game takes place after Naughty Dog’s Jak 3 (PS2), as the duo must defend the world against the effects of the nefarious “dark eco” energy. In addition, the duo will find themselves in combat in the high skies via aircraft.

High Impact Games, responsible for Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters and Secret Agent Clank will be developing the project. The studio was formed years ago by a number of staff members from Insomniac Games.

The following are screenshots from the PSP version.
