Doom Resurrection Releases on iPhone Today

id Software and Escalation Studios’ iPhone shooter Doom: Resurrection has hit the iTunes App Store today.

Boasting accelerometer motion and tecnhical aspects, the game will be available at a premium of $10. Currently only offering a singleplayer campaign at launch, future updates hold the promise of Blutooth functionality and cooperative multiplayer.

An on rails shooter at heart utilizing assets from Doom 3, Resurrection is the result of nine months of hard work at Escalation. The title is controlled by tilting the iPhone to manipulate the on-screen cursor.
