Halo 3: ODST Coming September 22, Includes Reach Beta

June 1, 2009 by William Saw 360, Microsoft No Comments

Bungie has taken the stage to demonstrate its upcoming shooter prequel Halo 3: ODST.

The demonstration began with drop troopers going through the atmosphere. The game begins weeks before the events of Halo 3 with giant explosions hitting the drop pods prior to reaching their destination.

A sound supression weapon and light sensitive equipment were used. Players will find clues that hint at the fates of the other drop ship players, allowing you to go back in time and and play from their perspective.

The full game will arrive on September 22 with Bungie promosing a new cooperative mode called Firefight.

Also those who buy Halo 3: ODST will have multiplayer beta access to Bungie’s just revealed Halo entry, Halo: Reach due out for release in 2010.

Matt Hazard: Blood Bath & Beyond Review

SB Plays The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks

When the newest entry in the beloved Zelda series was announced earlier this year, people were both excited and skeptical. How well would a train in the Zeldaverse go over with fans? Would the gameplay be a replay of Phantom Hourglass, with its infamously numerous trips through the Temple of the Ocean King?
Now that the [...]
