One of my favorite launch games for the GameCube has returned for the handheld Nintendo 3DS in Luigi’s Mansion 2. Next Level Games is the developer for the sequel, previously they were involved in making the Wii version of Punch Out! Luigi is bringing his vacuum antics in an entirely new game, with multiple mansions to explore, and the use of 3D rendering to make ghosts in the game appear more tripper than usual. No release date was announced for Luigi’s Mansion 2 but a 2012 calendar year release was stated.
