Rumor: Mass Effect 3 To Support Kinect

Mass Effect 3 may utilize Microsoft’s motion technology Kinect. The box art for the Xbox 360 version of Mass Effect 3 shows a “Better with Kinect” header. The image was removed from the store but Destructoid pointed out that the image file still remains on the EA servers.

This is not the first time that the EA Store has leaked information, unintentionally, in advance of a major announcement. The first details on Mass Effect 3 were known before its VGA debut. Apparently, someone working the EA Store wants to get fired or something. Its hard to fathom how Mass Effect 3 will utilize Kinect’s motion controls but I’m sure the creatives at Bioware could figure out some way to enact our Renegade dialogue options by throwing a punch at the TV.
