Activision Announces Goldeneye 007: Reloaded

Goldeneye 007: Reloaded will come to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, according to an announcement made by Activision today. The game is built on a brand new engine that will update the Nintendo 64 classic with a brand new look, much like the Wii title released last year. The PlayStation version is compatible with the Move controller.

“We are beyond ecstatic to debut GoldenEye 007: Reloaded to the millions of fans who have been clamoring for it to arrive on Sony and Microsoft home consoles,” said David Oxford, Executive Vice President at Activision Publishing. “And now with full PlayStation Move functionality, 007 fans all around the world can play the game in full HD in more ways than ever before.”

In addition to the main campaign for the game, a new mode called ‘Mi6 Ops Missions’ will add new distinct levels separate from the campaign that span environments from the story. The new game mode will challenge players in different Assault, Elimination, Stealth and Defense objectives. Fans can also look forward to multiplayer, with 4-player split screen action, and up to 16-players online.

You can look forward to Goldeneye 007: Reloaded when it releases in Fall.
