Bioware Working on Command & Conquer: Generals 2, 2013 Release

Bioware had another “world exlcusive” under its sleeve with the reveal of the studio’s foray into a “new direction and genre.” Command and Conquer: Generals 2 was announced at the Spike VGAs and is the follow up to the original PC game from 2003.

Generals is a real time strategy game, pitting the US against China and the Global Liberation Army. The newest game runs on DICE’s Frostbite 2 engine, the same technology used to power Battlefield 3. Command and Conquer: Generals 2 is slated for release in 2013. Under new studio, “Bioware Victory” the developer is expecting to release the game only on PC.
