Looking for a fun way to spend the weekend? Why don’t you hook up a PC to a giant screen, sit down with some friends and watch professional StarCraft II players compete in the Red Bull Training Grounds Santa Monica for prize money totalling over $8,000.

Red Bull launched their esports branch of their site last week and in an effort to build excitement and some help from Nvdia, their red-robin style tournament play with eight global professionals kicks off today at 2PM pacific time. Don’t worry if you can’t make the live streams, all of the videos will be uploaded to youtube on the redbullESPORTS channel.

If you have never watched StarCraft II professional matches before it might seem overwhelming, but if you’re familiar with RTS games you will quickly catch on and hopefully join in with the excitement.

So what are you waiting for? Head over to redbull.com and start watching!
