Straight from final day of the Disney fan club convention, D23 Expo, comes the lineup of this falls new figures and playable characters coming to the Disney Infinity platform.
Starting in October Disney will release the first post launch play set: “Toy Story in Space” featuring Buzz and Jessie bundled with the content and Woody sold separately. In the Toy Story play set players are charged with relocating those green, three eyed aliens to a new world. It’s not clear what the game play of this new play set will include but I am hoping for some space ship combat.
Disney Interactive has also announced the lineup of stand alone figures which will start rolling out in October and all be on shelves by the end of the year.

- Rapunzel (Tangled)
- Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope (Wreck-It Ralph)
- Phineas and Agent P (Phineas and Ferb)
- Anna and Elsa (Frozen)
- Sorcerer’s Apprentice Mickey (Fantasia)
While these stand alone figures don’t yet have their own play set, they do contain a short game that is being called a short “Adventure.” These short games are able to be played cooperatively with two players on split-screen or four players online.
Getting Wreck-It Ralph into the game is character I am most excited about. A fictional video game character from a movie in a real video game is the kind of weird meta media I can get behind. Which characters are you excited for? But more importantly which not yet announced Disney owned property would you like to see come to Infinity?
