New Mario & Sonic Will Have Online Multiplayer

Capture

On its Nov. 15 release day, players will be able to compete across the internet in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games Sochi 2014.

Four games will be playable either with friends or strangers online: Ski Cross, Snowboard Cross, Short Track Speed Skating and Winter Sports Champion Race (a crazy fantasy event combining skiing, ice skating, bobsleigh and snowboarding). In addition to the games and in keeping the spirit of the Olympics, Mario & Sonic will split the leader boards by country to show which players’ county has the most medals.

Mario & Sonic will also be offered in a bundle with a blue Wii remote for people looking to add another player into their local games.
