NVIDIA SHIELD $299 (Currently $249 holiday deal)
This is a great idea if you are willing to spend a little more money for a cool gaming gadget. The Shield is an Android based console with a controller built in. It offers a variety of gaming experiences from mobile games with controller support to WiFi streaming of proper PC games installed on your desktop.
