DOOM Open Beta Set to Drag You to Hell

Bethesda Softworks has announced that the Open Beta for DOOM will run from April 15th to the 17th. The Open Beta will not require a code of any kind, as players will be able to download and logon to Team Deathmatch and Warpath on the Heatwave and Infernal maps, using the platform of their choice.

Bethesda also announced their plans for DOOM‘s post-launch content. Alongside free support and content updates, plenty of paid DLC will be released. The first DLC, available this Summer, will contain three new maps, a new weapon, a new playable demon, a new armor set, a new piece of equipment, new taunts and hack modules, and new customization colors and patterns. Each DLC pack will cost $14.99, with a Season Pass available for $39.99.

DOOM will be released for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on May 13th. For more information, check out the trailer above, as well as the game’s official website here.
