Get On Top of the Firelink Shrine Without the Tower Key in Dark Souls 3

When you first start Dark Souls 3 you might have noticed the shop containing a key worth 20k souls that unlocks the tower behind the Firelink Shrine. Obviously, just starting out 20k souls is a hefty amount of souls but there’s a trick that will let you access a part of the upper Shrine area. Note, this won’t give you access to the tower itself so you’ll still need to eventually shell out the 20k souls if you want the items in the tower.
