Final Fantasy XV Goes Gold, Forsees an Ominous New Trailer

Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XV, dubbed “Omen”, in order to celebrate the game going gold. Created by DIGIC Pictures, the studio behind Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV, this new trailer gives players a more cinematic look at the upcoming story of Noctis and Luna. The trailer also celebrates the game’s gold status in a literal, but subtle way. Haruyoshi Sawatari, Producer at Square’s Business Division 2, commented:

“Last year I travelled around the world and attended many game events. I felt an amazing passion and sense of expectation towards FINAL FANTASY XV from series fans everywhere. From seeing that I really wanted to make it so that the fans could enjoy the game for longer and evolve and expand it even further. I will take these feelings and give them form, to deliver an amazing experience.”

Final Fantasy XV will release for the PS4 and Xbox One on November 29th. For more information, check out the trailer above.
