Wonder Boy Lets You Return to the 8-Bit World

DotEmu has announced that Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap will have a number of features that make it feel more like its classic counter-part. Wonder Boy will feature the ability to switch between 8-bit and modern visuals in real-time by pressing a single button. This switch will also change the soundtrack to that of the good old days, making it a dream-come-true for retro purists.

Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap will even let players use their passwords from 1989 in the remake to load their progress.

Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap releases for the PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this Spring. For more information, check out the trailer above.
