You Won’t Be Playing Red Dead Redemption 2 Until Spring 2018

Rockstar Games has delayed the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 to Spring 2018 for Xbox One and Playstation 4.

The studio was quick to mention that RDR 2 is “the first Rockstar game created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware” and that “some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible.”

Rockstar has also promised more details on the open-world adventure this summer so while you wait here’s some screenshots of the “vast and unforgiving American heartland” to tide you over.
