EA Announces A Way Out, a Story-Driven Co-Op Game

At its E3 2017 press conference, EA announced A Way Out, a new story-driven co-op game by Hazelight Studios. A Way Out follows two prison inmates, Leo and Vincent, as they get to know each other and break out of prison.

The game is designed for a co-op experience where two players must work together in any situation. Both online and local splitscreen multiplayer will be possible. While A Way Out begins in the prison, it follows the two characters into the outside world and promises “memorable action moments” including “car chases, stealth passages, melee fights, shootouts and many more.”

A Way Out is intended to be a unique co-op adventure unlike others available. It will be available digitally in early 2018 for the PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
