Gamescom 10: Heroes on the Move

Remember when people would always say, “Omg, Sly Cooper, Jak and Daxter and Ratchet and Clank are the best games on the PS2!”?

And then you were thinking they should make a game with all of them? Yeah, Sony thought the same thing. So Nihilistic Software is in charge of the project!

So Ratchet, Clank, Jak, Daxter, Sly and Bentley will all be going through very rigorous challenges, but get this, you get to choose which Hero does the challenge each challenge. And everyone can be an anyone’s world, … Continue Reading

Gamescom 10: Oh Hai, More SKUs

So Sony has been cranking out HDD “upgrades” like crazy, 20GB, 40GB, 60GB, 80GB, 120GB, 250GB, and now, 160GB and 320GB PS3′s join the crew. What will they think of next!

The 160GB PS3 will be shipped to retailers worldwide … now. It’ll be at the $299.99 (MSRP) price still, so that’s very exciting!

Gamescom 10: Killzone 3 Multiplayer Trailer

Killzone 3, slated for a February 2011 release seems to be one of those games Sony really wants to sell consoles. What with the cover of the box being such a huge advertisement for just about everything possible on the system, there seems to be no space for any actual box art!

In the trailer, we get our first glimpse at what kind of new goodies await us in multiplayer this iteration; amongst those goodies lie exoskeletons, jet-packs and the all-too familiar squeaking XP sound.

Gamescom 10: inFAMOUS’ Old Cole is baCK

There’s a pattern going on with these jazz-y trailers apparently. inFAMOUS 2 is Sucker Punch’s latest game, and sequel to the hit inFAMOUS.

It’s pretty straight-forward: monsters, lightning, people, buildings, rocket launchers, oh, and the old Cole is back. See? Enough complaining and game studios listen, because they’d rather you be happy and buy their games than have themselves be happy.

Or maybe somehow everyone’s happy…

Do You Like to Eat at Subway? Do You Like to Win Stuff? Then Sony and Subway Have a Deal for You!

August 17, 2010 by MegaClank Media, News, PS3, PSP, Platform, Sony 2 Comments

Fiery Footlong Frenzy!

The Fiery Footlong Frenzy is the newest partnership Sony has cooked up with participating SUBWAY stores! But what’s the catch?

Go to a participating Subway from now until October 17th and purchase (get this) either a SUBWAY 32 oz. drink, a specially marked SUBWAY breakfast sandwich or even some SunChips bags (Monterey Jack and Sundried Tomato) to collect codes that allow you to become part of the frenzy!

We’ll be giving away an average of one prize per minute, many before they can be purchased in stores. We have over $1 million in prizes to give away, including PlayStation Move hardware and software bundles, Gran Turismo 5 and Gran Turismo 5 Collector’s Editions, LittleBigPlanet 2 and LittleBigPlanet 2 Collector’s Editions, and Invizimals PSP Entertainment Packs.

I don’t get it, where’s the fiery footlong? The new Turkey Jalapeno Melt is where it’s at apparently.

Additional information can be found here. Also check out their Facebook page to get in on some extra details, or maybe Twitter is your fancy.
