Diego’s Top 5 Duke Nukem Quotes

I’ve always been a Duke fan. Shit I’ve been betting on him since I played the first Duke game. No I’m not talking about Duke Nukem 3D you little babies, I’m talking about the first Duke Nukem game that came out in 1991 and was 2D. Man those 2 games were hard as fuck but I still loved and played the shit out of them, and when Duke made the transition to 3D I nearly pissed myself with excitement. Now after over a decade of wait it seems the glory of Duke Nukem Forever will soon shine over our mortal souls and I’ve decided to compile a Top 5 list of my favorite Duke Nukem quotes. It was hard sifting through over 100 different lines but Will forced me to stick with just 5 so blame him. Also if your favorite quote isn’t here go make your own damn list, and blame Will for it too. … Continue Reading

Rumor: New Ratchet & Clank Reveal at Gamescom

It seems fans upset by Insomniac’s news that the Future series of Ratchet & Clank coming to an end with last year’s A Crack in Time might have something new to look forward to. A well placed source has led us to believe that Insomniac might be teasing the reveal of the next R&C game at Gamescom this year, similar to how ACIT was revealed at Gamescom and Tools of Destruction before that. Those waiting for Resistance 3 might have to hold on a little bit longer for the Penny Arcade Expo where the game is expected to have its full reveal at its panel. As with all rumors I’m going to hold my excitement until it actually becomes fact, but what the hell let’s all spam the forums with talk about what this new game could possibly be about.

Hothead Games Q+A

As you could all tell from my Deathspank review I absolutely adored the game, so you know I was as giddy as a schoolgirl when I was given the chance to ask them a few questions in a Q+A recently. Although I will add that they suspiciously decided to not answer my question of whether there will be a downloadable expansion involving a whole new area filled with orphaned bacon, so I’m going to take that as a definite yes.

Diego’s Top 10: The Official Blog of the Game of the Movie

I’ve been meaning to make a Top 10 since I joined the staff but I’ve always kept pushing it off for some reason. I guess after our latest fiasco with Zack’s list I probably shouldn’t, but I have faith that people will acknowledge that it’s my opinion. Although I’m probably going to have somebody calling me a ‘fuckhead’ and ‘fanboy’ for not having their favorite game. I’ll admit Zack is a bit of a fanboy (and he happily agrees) but I at the least try to have an open view of all games and if I don’t like a game I usually have very good reasons. I’d also like to mention I took the time to make my own image unlike Zack who’s major skills involve Google Images. I’m kidding, it sucks so if you want you can trash it too. … Continue Reading

Deathspank Review

Deathspank Review

Deathspank
Developer: Hothead Games
Price: $15.00
Platform: PS3 & 360

Deathspank is a hero destined to acquire the mysterious artifact known simply as ‘The Artifact’. This adventure has him saving orphans, fighting unicorns, aiding an old hero gain a few experience points, and many tin cans to collect. Deathspank is basically a satirical take on the RPG genre with the game’s characters mocking typical RPG cliche’s throughout the game. The game is full of loot to collect, monsters to slay, and brilliant writing. I’ve been following this game for a few years now and it doesn’t disappoint. … Continue Reading
