If you were like me and didn’t follow coverage of Atlus’ latest game, Catherine, much at all leading up to its release, then all you had in mind of this game was a half naked, freaked out guy with ram’s horns, falling into the cleavage of a nymphomaniac probably named Catherine. Oh and apparently there’s puzzles involved. With only that in mind, I had to buy this game. Glad I did too!

On this edition of the MonsterVine podcast, we wrap up our coverage of San Diego Comic Con 2011. William Saw and Austin Adamason ( Hardtoast.com) join me in our discussion of some of the titles we saw at the show, including: GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, Mass Effect 3 and more.

Here is part two of our Post E3 podcast. Special guests Austin Adamson (hardtoast.com) and Arturo Molina (Kingdom Hearts Ultimania) join us as we go over the Microsoft, Sony, and Nintendo press conferences. We give our thoughts on the new Wii U console, Kintectmania, and go over first party titles like Uncharted 3 and Gears of War 3.

E3 2011 has come and gone, and that means we have our annual post E3 podcast, and discuss some of our favorites games and hardware from the show. On part one, we go over some of the third party titles at E3, including Tomb Raider, Battlefield 3, and Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. As always, there was tons of games at the show, but unfortuantly we could not go over all of them, so sorry in advance if we did not cover your favorite titles.

Its Friday FUN FUN FUN. Ok, we don’t particularly take ourselves with the utmost professionalism sometimes but it usually occurs when you write for a video game website. It just happens. Our podcast crew who’ve been patiently waiting for me to edit a two weeks late recording will probably be angry that I’ve decided to go through and post this. To bring you up to speed, in our off the record conversations, we decided to find the worst fanfiction around courtesy of Peter Chimaera and read it aloud for our enjoyment.
