SparklingBlue Wants to Play and Help Japan!

So, I’m sure you know by now about the horrible earthquake that devastated Japan this morning and the ensuing tsunami…

…and I’m thinking of a way for all of us at MonsterVine to help those affected.

Right now, I’m thinking of doing a fundraiser walkthrough (eg. someone plays through a game of their choice, with different achievements/plot points earning different amounts of money. When the game is completed, the money is donated to help the quake victims)

But do you have a better idea? What would you do to help?

I’ve been getting pretty heavy in app games lately since I got a shiny new iPod Touch and I’ve been taking every joke I made about iPhone gamers back ever since. I come across neat little titles every so often so I decided to type up articles on the ones I’ve been addicted to recently to let anyone in on any big app titles like Dead Space or hook them up with lesser known titles such as Stenches or Hook Worlds. Highlights of the night include: Machinima.com skits/interludes between awards, Cliffy B presenting Best Weapon, Casey Hudson receiving Best DLC for Mass Effect 2, Treyarch developers being overly drunk and tripping over chairs, the Deus Ex team discussing in their acceptance speech for Best Trailer about their late night conference calls to Japan (including several translators), and Respawn Entertainment’s Vincent Zampella presenting Game of the Year right after Treyarch accepted award for Best Multiplayer.
