Bioware had two “world premiere” exclusives to show off at the 2011 Spike VGAs tonight and one was a new trailer for the upcoming sci-fi action RPG, Mass Effect 3. The reapers have invaded and its up to Commander Shepard and his crew to stop them. Bioware has been rather dodgy as of late on Mass Effect 3‘s multiplayer component, neither confirming or denying that the final game in the trilogy will include a online aspect.

If we aren’t furiously typing away at our keyboards already, a retail pamphlet listing reveals a “online multiplayer pass” for Mass Effect 3′s Collectors Edition. EA and Starbreeze Studios revival of Starbreeze into a modern cyberpunk FPS may have sparked the ire of its original fanbase but the publisher has now released its debut trailer showcasing mind control abilities, melee, zipline infiltrations, surgery, and dystopian world environments.
