THQ, Obsidian Announce South Park: The Game

In a collaboration between THQ, Obsidian, and South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, South Park: The Game is a gigantic RPG for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC. Playing as a new kid in South Park, it’ll be up to you to make new friends and defend the town.

Gamescom ’11: The Witcher 2 Preview

I’ve played the original Witcher for about 12 hours. For some reason I never came back to it but I enjoyed what I played. In those opening hours of this massive game, it was pretty apparent it was very much a PC RPG through and through. Crimson Alliance ‘Grox’ Character Trailer

Certain Affinity’s action RPG, co-op game Crimson Alliance released a new trailer focusing on one of its three playable characters, a mercenary named Grox.

“A Sackful of Fluff” – New DLC Included in The Witcher 2 Patch 1.3

The recently released changelog for The Witcher 2 patch 1.3 has revealed several interesting changes, including the addition of a new DLC quest found in Chapter 2 titled ‘A Sackful of Fluff’. Players will also be able to store their extra items at inns found throughout the world and the option to view in-game cutscenes outside of play. (more…)

Crimson Alliance Screens Shows Dungeon Crawl, Co-op Gameplay

Crimson Alliance brings a dungeon crawl, co-op gameplay experience to the action RPG genre. Players choose among three classes and fight against the Cult of the Soul Siren and can team up to three friends locally or online on Xbox Live.

The game boasts a narrative co-op campaign and Certain Affinity hopes you will check it out when it arrives in September on the Xbox Live Arcade. (more…)

Dungeon Siege III Trailer: Meet Katarina

Square Enix and Obsidian has revealed the third playable character in the upcoming action RPG game, Dungeon Siege III. Katarina is a range class heroine and will be able to shoot guns, launch projectiles, weave spells, and tame hounds all shown off in the latest gameplay trailer for the game.

Felicia Day Starring in Dragon Age Web Series

Felicia Day is part writer, part talent in an upcoming marketing blitz regarding Dragon Age 2. Day will star in a six-episode web episodic series titled Dragon Age: Redemption as Tallis, an elven assassin with a sarcastic wit. The premise revolves around the capture of a renegade magician and along the way Tallis will recruit Ferelden residents for the cause. Word has come our way that the web series will premiere on tomorrow night’s episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon as Felicia Day will be present to deliver a first look at the webseries.

Fun fact: We saw Felicia Day in person at Indiecade.
