Halo Anniversary Supports Kinect

Microsoft is pushing hard to bring in Kinect features on its core offerings this year, including Halo Anniversary. Microsoft Game Studios manager Phil Spencer made the comment in an interview with Gamespot, “As a first party, we believe that Kinect will be important to all genres of games, be it racing games with Forza, combat games like Ryse — even games like Halo Anniversary has Kinect integration.”

The company has stated that Kinect support for Halo Anniversary is entirely optional and won’t affect the “core gameplay experience.”

Inversion Drops Multiplayer Details and Screens

Namco Bandai revealed the first multiplayer details for Inversion, a gravity based third person shooter coming for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on February 7, 2012 in North America and February 10, 2012 in Europe.

Inversion will bring 16 multiplayer maps and different modes for play ranging from team deathmatch, free-for-all, to gravity challenge modes where the objective is to be the top player with the most points and the master of the forces of physics. (more…)
