Free Portal 2 DLC ‘Peer Review’ Coming October 4th

Valve has announced the free DLC update for Portal 2 will release across multiple platforms: Steam, Xbox Live, PSN on October 4th. Which means tomorrow. The free DLC “Peer Review” is available to all owners of Portal 2 via download on Xbox 360, PS3, and will be automatically downloaded via Steam on PC and Mac platforms.

In “Peer Review,” players will rejoin Atlus and P-Body in a new co-op track and match wits with GlaDOS. The DLC features single player, co-op Challenge Mode, and leaderboards. Gamescom ’11: Dota 2 Trailer, The International

Valve is debuting Dota 2 to the public at this year’s Gamescom in Germany this week but the publisher has further plans. Introducing The International, the inaugural Dota 2 championships featuring the best Dota players around the world competing over the course of the five day trade show.

Counter-Strike Returns for Global Offensive, Targets 2012 for Consoles, PC

Valve announced Counter-Strike: Global Offensive today for Xbox Live Arcade, Playstation Network, and Steam in early 2012. CS: GO is being developed by the folks at Hidden Path Entertainment who previously lend its support in providing various Source engine updates.

The next iteration promises new weapons, maps, characters, as well as a revamp of classic Counter-Strike content you know and love (de_dust). CS: GO will be showcased for attendees going to this year’s PAX Prime in Seattle and Eurogamer Expo in London, UK. (more…)

New Left 4 Dead 2 DLC Coming Early Thanks to Community
