During the Microsoft E3 conference, Harmonix and MTV announced the full song list of 84 songs that will feature in Rock Band 2 (full song list can be found here). Among the new songs, was the announcement that Axl Rose will debut a new song, “Shackler’s Revenge” from the new Guns’n’Roses album Chinese Democracy (which has been over 10 years in the making, seriously). As we already knew, users will able to import their favourite tracks from Rock Band into Rock Band 2, but MTV will also be releasing an additional 20 downloadable songs for free at a later date.
How can Guitar Hero top this? We’ll have to wait and see.
