Microsoft has brought clarification that that the $22.50 price point for Castle Crashers and $15 Braid price were false. This stemmed from a now removed Microsoft Japan listing which was proven incorrect for both home and international markets.
The company will announce the official price points for those titles Monday before the week of each respective game’s release, for Braid and Castle Crashers, which will be August 4 and August 25.
Here are the price points reported previously:
* Braid (Jonathon Blow), August 6 / 1200 Microsoft Points ($15)
* Bionic Commando: Rearmed (GRIN), August 13 / 800 Microsoft Points ($10)
* Galaga Legions (Namco Bandai), August 21 / 800 Microsoft Points ($10)
* Castle Crashers (The Behemoth), August 27 / 1800 Microsoft Points ($22.50)
Castle Crashers at a $22.50 would have surpassed Penny Arcade Adventures: Episode One ($20) as the most expensive XBLA title on the Live Marketplace.
Xbox Live Arcade titles have traditionally sold for the same price worldwide.
