The Gears of War Comic-con panel (consisting of Josh Ortega, Cliff Bleszinski, and Karen Travis) have revealed more details about the upcoming Gears of War sequel.
Gears of War 2 will feature what is being called “linked achievements”. For example, if you killed Raam in Gears of War, you will be able to use him in the Gears of War 2 multiplayer mode. Expect more details on this soon.
Thirty percent of the game is set in the Locust lair.
The story has a lot more focus on Dom this time round.
Carmine’s brother will feature in the game.
For $130, you can purchase a special edition of Gears of War 2 that comes with a replica Lancer.
The upcoming novels and comics are set inbetween Gears of War and Gears of War 2.
Expect more information to see the light of day in the near feature as the build up to the game’s release on November 7th continues.
