New downloadable content details for Valve’s Left 4 Dead shooter on Xbox 360 and PC have arisen. Including speculation about a flamethrower as a possible addition.
The developer plans to add new scenarios to the game’s inital four, as well as new bosses and weapons. In addition, the studio also aims at providing DLC more quickly in comparison to Team Fortress 2. It is unknown at this point if the content will be free on Xbox 360 considering the arugments raised between the company and Microsoft when releasing additional content on Xbox Live.
In the Xbox 360 version, Valve plans to offer dedicated servers for Xbox Live players. Valve plans to have “everyone covered.”
The console port is currently handeled by Certain Affinity and is making several adjustments to the game in order to make the game playable on a controller, such as less frequent zombie attacks from behind and a “180 button” to turn around quickly.
Both versions are set for a November 18th release.
