Senior Epic Games employee Rod Fergusson stated in a Gamasutra interview that developers could soon be hitting the limits of the Xbox 360’s hardware.
“I think we’re certainly approaching the upper end of it, as far as what developers are able to do with it,”

With 2010 releases coming down the vine, Epic Games made its own predictions recently on the revelation of the next-generation graphics technology for that same year. The company currently plans to release the next iteration of their engine, Unreal Engine 4, by 2012.
