Xbox360fanboy.com is reporting that they’ve recieved word from a source close to Microsoft’s marketing department that not only will Xbox 360 consoles get a price cut (note: since they posted this, some consoles have been cut), but Microsoft is also preparing to launch a motion controller that will be bundled with the Xbox 360 Arcade package. Said to be priced at $199 (US), the new bundle is apparently scheduled for release near the end of the year.
Is Microsoft hungry for a chunk of Nintendo’s casual gaming pie? We’ll have to wait and see. If we hear any more news we’ll let you know ASAP. In the meantime, please remember that these are still rumours.
