According to data released by ChartTrack, Xbox 360 sales in the UK have shot up over the past two weeks. Xbox 360 sales have risen 214%, outselling Sony’s Playstation 3 by a large margin.
These figures come a week after Microsoft dropped the price to £129.99 for the entry level Xbox 360 package. Xbox 360 has also recieved heavy promotion in recent weeks, as the build up to the dashboard overhaul continues.
With a large list of high profile titles scheduled for the coming months, increasing sales all over the world, and the partial reinvention of the Xbox 360 experience looming just around the corner, the end of 2008 certainly looks to be a big one for Microsoft and the Xbox brand.
