A panel of World of Warcraft developers took the stage to answer questions at the annual Blizzcon convention, revealing a few upcoming details for the popular MMORPG.
The biggest news revolves around ground mounts being able to swim in post-Lich King.
“In the first content patch that follows Wrath of the Lich King, all of your ground mounts will no longer dismount in water, and they swim now,”
Popular Warcraft lore character Deathwing will be coming into the game in the near future.
The panel also noted that they are working on intergrating the Panda-like Panderen race into the fiction of the world, however they have ran into some internation trouble with China on the perception of the race, noting that the developers have to be cautious about appealing towards a broad base of international subscribers.
And finally the developers talked about a possible “five-man” interaction with Arthas, the main villian in the upcoming Wrath of the Lich King expansion.
