The guys over at Behemoth have been working hard on the brand new ‘King Pack’ DLC for it’s #1 Xbox Live Arcade game Castle Crashers. The pack will cost just 160 Microsoft Space Bucks (which is $2 in real money) and will get you a bunch of new crazy stuff:
- Two New Characters: Open Faced Gray Knight and the King
- New Weapons: NG Lollipop, NG Gold Sword and the King’s Mace (equipped with the King)
- New Animal Orb: Pelter, the Seal
- New Magic: King’s Healing (Gold Knife, Healing Magic and the Kingly Jump)
Not too shabby for 160 points if you think about it. It’s definitely better value than this abomination.

I’m pretty sure most people will see this and go “Where the hell is my patch?”
Can’t blame them though. I know that it’s all apparently in Microsoft’s hands now, but it’s a bit vexing to wait so long for a Title patch, and be graced instead with a relatively trivial DLC update.
In all honesty though, I wouldn’t have minded this DLC if they included the Necromancer and the Wizard, but alas, I might skip out on this until Behemoth decides to do so.

Look at the date this was posted the 13th, they said tomorrow which is the 14th. Which is now.
This is just a reminder. They “might” post its gone LIVE post but perhaps people are already playing it?
