Resistance 2’s first DLC is coming soon, with details coming out the Game Developers Conference. Insomniac has announced that the new content will be split into two pieces: a patch and paid content from the PSN store. Both will be available on March 26th.
The patch will include a new multiplayer mode – Meltdown- as well as a new difficulty setting for co-op, allowing for more EXP rewards but also making it more challenging. In addition, the patch will allow a local co-op player to sign in with his PSN profile, allowing for him or her to save their accumulated scores.
The paid content will have a number of maps available designed for small scale battles. The Aftermath Map pack will cost $5.99 and a number of skins purchasable for $.99 each.
