Destructoid Gets Our Vote for the Webby Awards

destructoid-creator

MonsterVine formally and officially declares its endorsement for Destructoid in the “Best Games-Related Website” category.

We laud Destructoid’s take on video game industry and see alot of parallels found in their passion for writing and how ordinary people with extraordinary ambitions can prevail in this heavily populated medium.

I recently had a chat with the founder Niero who was down to earth about his experiences in the making of Destructoid and implemented some of his methods, that I took to heart, for MonsterVine. That sort of impersonal dialogue is sorely needed in the gaming media today because at our core, we all love video games and want to voice our own opinions about them.

Now all you have to do head over to the official site for the Webby Awards, sign up for a voting account, and find the Games-Related Website category, and look for Destructoid.
