2K Czech’s Mafia II and Rockstar San Diego’s Red Dead Redemption have been pushed back “to allow additional development time for the titles and to maximize their full potential.”
The publisher Take-Two noted the delay for both titles and are now due within the “first half of fiscal 2010,” a period that runs from November 1, 2009 to April 30, 2010.
Both titles were previously slated to arrive by October 31, 2009 – the end of Take-Two’s current fiscal year. The company is currently evaluating the best possible launch windows for the games adding through press release that “full potential” refers to “the quality of the player experience and market performance.”
