Left 4 Dead 2 Announced for November 17th

The sequel to Valve’s cooperative zombie shooter was announced at Microsoft’s E3 Media Briefing today which is expected to arrive on November 17th on PC and Xbox 360.

New locations with new characters, the trailer shows the setting of Lousiana and the ability to use new melee weapons such as a chainsaw, frying pan, axe, and a baseball bat to fend off new enemies.

Valve brings “a much larger game than the original with more co-operative campaigns, more Versus campaigns, and maps for Survival mode available at launch.”

In addition, the AI Director has been bolstered allowing for players to change weather effects, world objects, and pathways to keep people on the edges of their seats.
