Blog: Dragon Ball Franchise Moves to Namco Bandai

We certrainly know what the scouter’s power level is by now, but what fans of the franchise may be curious to know is that the Dragon Ball series has now jumped ship to the publishing arm of Namco Bandai games.

The new agreement will last five years starting January 2010. Namco Bandai Games has also been granted rights to publish three titles in 2009 that include Dragon Ball: Raging Blast for Xbox 360 and PS3, Dragon Ball: Revenge of King Piccolo for Wii, and Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Saiyans for DS.

The ongoing popularity of the Dragon Ball series is a remarkable feat given a decade since its conclusion in Japan. Expect the series to bring out more games for years to come.
