Lucasarts downloadable adventure remake The Secret of Monkey Island will arrive next week on PC and Xbox 360 coming Wednesday, July 15.
The PC release will be available through Steam as well as other online distributors, while the Xbox 360 version will be sold on the Xbox Live Marketplace. The studio did not announce a price for the remake.
The Secret of Monkey Island is just one aspect of the revived franchise, with Lucasarts having partnered with Telltale to produce new Monkey Islands in episodic form. The first, Tales of Monkey Island Chapter 1 – Launch of the Screaming Narwhal comes to PC tomorrow and through Wiiware in the coming weeks.
