Now it’s time for the day today in the world of gaming.
Assassin’s Creed 2 DLC Details
A new DLC titled ‘Bonfire of the Vanities’ will be coming on February 18th. The pack will contain the next corrupted sequence, sequence 13. “which will be comprised of ten memories following Ezio’s attempt to aid Machiavelli in freeing Florence from the influence of one Savonarola. It’s up to Ezio to target key citizens under Savonarola’s control and attempt to win them over through diplomatic discourse.” I hope the next pack will be better than the last. While it was great, it was just simply like the end of the original, fighting hordes of enemies. I shall be buying it neither less I fucking love Assassin’s Creed 2.
Large Microsoft Franchise Coming to Natal
No details at the moment unfortunately. CVG has a job listing for a designer wanting someone who “can create innovative game-play solutions for a large franchise.” Natal needs better support for AAA games, apparently Fable III will have some Natel functionality, but overall it needs a killer title. I’ve also realised I’ve seen spelling Natal wrong for ages now, it’s Natal not Natel.
Perfect Dark and Games Room Release Dates
Expect Perfect Dark on March 17th and Xbox Live Games Room on March 24th. As an added bonus if you buy Scrap Metal, Toy Soliders and the other 2, you will be refunded 400 points as a part of their “House Party” promotion throughout march. Personally I’m not bothered about any of them, but it’s quite a nice little offer…. I guess.
Fable 3 Co-op To Be Fleshed Out
Fable 2’s co-op was rather half-hearted, you could transfer your whole character into someone else game. Now that won’t be the case. Everything from weapons to the dog will be playable if you use co-op. Also interactions with each others character is possible including holding hands. Not to mention being able to totally screw up someone’s game world. Sounds good if you ask me, though it all should of been in the last game.
In which there will be a hour long presentation called “Introducing the PlayStation 3 Motion Controller.” Hopefully they will actually show it in action rather than a small tech demo. Some game integration would be nice.
