Microsoft Scores Five Exclusive Games with Japanese Developers

Microsoft has announced at its Tokyo Game Show Media Briefing today that it has five exclusive games for the Xbox 360 and Kinect platform developed by Japanese developers and publishers. Details were sparse but we have learned of another Suda-51 game, this time for the Kinect platform.

Spike is bringing Fire Pro Wrestling to the Xbox 360, including support for playable Xbox Live avatars.

Treasure has announced Radiant Silvergun HD, originally released on SEGA Saturn, as a downloadable HD title with two player Xbox Live co-op support both online and local as well as a feature to download and share replays. The original Arcade and Saturn game modes will be available.

Parappa the Rapper developer, Masaya Matsuura, revealed a horror title for Kinect named Haunt. It appears to be played from a first person perspective with cartoony rather than realistic visuals.

A newly formed company, Groundings Inc., has revealed Project Draco for the Kinect platform. Draco is a fully motion controlled game with flying dragons inspired by the Panzer Dragoon series.

Grasshopper Manufacture’s Suda 51 revealed Codename D, a Kinect exclusive described as a core action game for the hardcore fans. A live action trailer showed flaming baseballs and killing people who look like members from the Insane Clown Posse.
